I’m a programmer by trade and a fledgling home-based microbakery co-owner in Lafayette, Colorado.

I’ve been programming in various forms since 1996, and I’m currently a Staff Software Engineer at The New York Times. As a programmer, this whole Generative AI thing has me reeling, so I’ve got something to right about again.

In my spare time, I contribute to our micro-bakery, Daily Grains. I guess that technically means I don’t have spare time. While all-things-digital is my current jam, the bakery and bread thing is the retirement business I’m working on. This is the other thing I’ll probably write about as well.
